The Hydronix SDP-2510 radial flow carbon filter is a versatile 10-inch by 2.5-inch dual-purpose filter. With a 25-micron filtration capability, it is an excellent choice for compact filtration needs where a single housing is used. This two-stage filter features a 25-micron sediment outer core, complemented by a center of granular activated carbon (GAC) from coconut shells. Additionally, a 5-micron polypropylene layer at the core reinforces the filter and further removes contaminants.
Effective in reducing sediment, organics, chlorine taste and odor, as well as other undesirable tastes and odors, the Hydronix SDP-2510 offers a wide range of applications. It is suitable for use with both city and well water, with a temperature rating of 40°F to 125°F.
The filter's specifications include a 9-3/4" length and a 2-3/4" diameter, with a nominal 25-micron rating and an initial pressure drop of 0.6 psi at a flow rate of 1 gpm. It is compatible with a variety of popular filter housings, such as the American Plumber W34PR and W34-PR, Ametek CTR-210, Culligan HF-150, HF-150A, HF-160, HF-360, HF-365, US-550, US-560, SY-2000, SY-5167, and SY-5197, as well as Pentek #10 Slim Line housings and most other 10-inch slim housings from brands like Ametek, Bruner, Cuno, Harmsco, Hydronix, Keystone, Kleen Plus, Plymouth Products, USFilter, and Water Resources.
