The coconut shell granular activated carbon (GAC) filter media reduces unpleasant taste and odor from drinking water and has a service life of 2,000 gallons (or one year). These filters have a flow rate of 0.5 gallons per minute (gpm), a 2" outside diameter (OD), and a total length of 10". The Hydronix icf-10 inline filters can operate in temperatures ranging from 35 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit and have a maximum pressure rating of 125 pounds per square inch (psi), making them suitable for use in various water filtration applications such as ice makers, water coolers, coffee makers, and refrigerators.
The Hydronix Inline Water Filter is a multi-purpose solution, compatible with most refrigerator filter brands like Samsung, GE, LG, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, and can be used in a variety of settings, including Refrigerators, Ice Makers, Coffee Makers, Drinking Water Fountains, Water Coolers, Beverage Equipment, Sink Faucets, RV, Campers, Boats, Under the Sink, and RO Systems.
The installation of these inline water line filters is straightforward. They come with built-in 1/4" female NPT Ports on both ends, allowing for easy connection to plastic or copper water lines using 1/4" inch lines. Users simply need to remove the tubes and thread fittings from the old filter and thread the fittings to the new replacement filter, then plug in the tubes.
