These filters have a particle retention size of 1 micron, making them suitable for drinking water filtration applications. Manufactured with NSF-certified, safe, coconut shell activated carbon, the Hydronix CB-45-2001 filters are designed to reduce unpleasant taste, odor, chlorine, and other contaminants from drinking water.
The filters have a 4.5-inch outside diameter (OD) and a total length of 20 inches. The operating temperature range is 40 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, and the maximum pressure rating is 250 pounds per square inch (psi). These carbon block filters are suitable for use in water dispensing applications where higher chlorine levels are present.

Replacing the Hydronix whole house water filter cartridges is a quick and easy process, ensuring your system remains up and running. The 20-inch x 4.5-inch water filter cartridge has a minimal impact on water flow (up to 26,000 gallons chlorine capacity at 7 GPM) and requires minimal maintenance.
